EiP – Electrically instructed Person – Replacement of protective devices

Certification course qualifying participants as Electrically Instructed Persons (EIPs) for occasional and limited tasks like replacing fuses and operate protective devices.
Employees replacing fuses (e.g., screw fuses), operating control and protective devices (e.g., motor protection switches), or accessing electrical operating rooms without proper instruction expose supervisors to legal liability in case of accidents. This course provides the detailed knowledge required for such occasional activities.
Protect yourself from liability, learn what EIPs can and cannot do, and which further tasks require a qualified electrician.

Important

EIPs work under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician.
This does not require constant presence; the electrician must verify at suitable intervals that instructions are followed and work is performed safely.

2-day seminar with final knowledge assessment, awarding qualification certificate per:

• DGUV Regulation 3 §3(1)
• VDE 1000-10 §3.3
• DGUV Regulation 1 §7

2  seminar days, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. each
